FAKENHAM: West End’s Jodie to take on patron role
Fakenham and District Light Operatic Society (FADLOS) started 2013 with the announcement that West End star Jodie Prenger (on left in picture) will take on the role of patron for the year.
Best known for winning the nation’s heart and the role of Nancy in the ITV television talent search I’d Do Anything, she has offered to be on call for any advice throughout the year.
She said: “I want to take being a patron seriously and I understand the importance of the role.
“Although I am working everyday until August, so won’t be able to visit the cast in Fakenham, I can be at the end of the phone or email for advice and guidance on their production.”
The next production to be staged by FADLOS is Oliver, rehearsals have already begun and the show will performed from May 14-18.
The group are in need of period costumes for the show and would appreciate any donations - contact the group through their website www.fadlos.co.uk
