Half-term fun sessions

BRECKLAND Council has organised a programme of activities for children across the district during the school half-term holiday this month.

Cartoon drawing, dodgeball and drumming are among the sessions that have been arranged by the council in partnership with Parkwood Leisure.

On February 13, Swaffham Community Centre will be hosting a family drumming session, from 10am to noon, and a cartoon creatures wildlife-based workshop, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Multi-sports activities, including athletics, dodgeball, Kwik Cricket and rounders, will be held at Mundford Village Hall on the same day, from 10am to noon, and on February 15 at Ashill Community Centre, from 10am to noon, and Necton Community Centre, from 1pm to 3pm.

Activities are for children from reception age upwards, at £2 a session. More details can be found in the council’s latest Breckland Voice newsletter or by calling 01362 656870.
