KING’S LYNN: Celebrate Chinese New Year

Organisers at Lynn’s Vancouver Quarter will be celebrating Chinese New Year next month when the Hung Kuen Lion Dance Team return to perform.

Welcoming the Year of the Snake, the premier troupe will be performing the traditional Lion Dance on February 11.

Abbie Panks, from the Vancouver Quarter, said: “We had a fantastic morning last year with around 200 children and the Hung Kuen team.

“They always provide a great atmosphere and we welcome anyone who would like to come and watch the performance with us.”

It will take place on Baxters Plan, betwen Argos and Beales, at 11am.
