KING’S LYNN: Fresh look at painting

editorial image

West Norfolk Deaf Association will host a special exhibition on Tuesday when deaf and almost blind artist Lloyd McCullough brings his fantasy paintings to Lynn.

Born profoundly deaf and suffering from Usher’s Syndrome, which causes tunnel vision and night blindness, Lloyd has studied art at school and college leading to him completing a degree in Illustration.

He said: “I have always had an interest in drawing from a very early age. My work is very important to me and I am constantly drawing and creating new characters and stories.”

The exhibition, to be held at the centre in Railway Road, will be open to the deaf from 10am-12pm and to the public from 5pm-9pm.
