KING’S LYNN: Now a digital service

After nearly 35 years of recording the local news on to tapes for blind and partially-sighted people across West Norfolk, Lynn’s Talking Newspaper is going digital.

From March 4, the news will be recorded on a memory stick and all listeners will be issued “boom boxes” to enable them to get an enhanced recording of news.

The new system will be demonstrated at Gaywood library, on national Library Day, tomorrow morning.
