KING’S LYNN: Who will claim the top title this year?

editorial image

With Christmas out of the way, it’s time for local bands to put their talents to the test by signing up to compete in this year’s Battle of the Bands.

In association with Twisted Melon, the competition is back, bigger and better than ever before as musicians across West Norfolk, and further afield, prepare for the first of 12 heats.

Prizes up for grabs include a chance to perform in front of a crowd of thousands at Festival Too, slots at other local festivals and events, recording time, a photo shoot and band merchandise.

For heat winners, there will also be the chance to promote and play their song on KL.FM96.7 during the semi-finals before packed-out Corn Exchange watches on as the bands promote themselves to music industry reps and the media.

The first heat will take place at Lynn’s Mayden’s Head on Saturday, January 19, with competition high as Disabled Angel, From the Sticks, Letter to the Tsar and The Remnance are pitted against each other.
