TERRINGTON ST JOHN: College artist wants to inspire you
Linda Bulkeley
An artist from Terrington St John will open her solo exhibition today as the first Artist in Residence at the College of West Anglia.
Linda Bulkeley said: “Creating is not only my passion, but necessary for the health of my soul.
“I create from my heart, hoping to inspire my audience through my art dolls, mixed media collage, assemblage, fibre art and sometimes jewellery.”
Her exhibition, themed What a Relief, will be on show during the months of January and February, with Fine Art students joining her from February 22, with their work titled Diversity.
She added: “When I work, my inspiration comes from many different forms.
“More often than not, it concerns spiritual contemplation, together with my colourful sense of humour. I then give rein to creativity, allowing it to flow in whichever direction it knows to follow.”
The exhibition will be on display at Octavia View, South Brink at the Isle Campus in Wisbech, from today until March 1.
From Monday to Friday it will be open 9am until 5pm, on Saturdays the exhibition will open between 10am and 4pm.
