This week we take you back to April, 1973, when the Lynn News photographer visited Terrington St Clement Junior School.
Here are some of the 150 pupils at the school which had been situated in Churchgate Way since 1923. Before then, lessons were taken at a church hall in the village.
The headmaster was Mr V M Brodie who had a staff of five full-time teachers and one part-time member.
A feature of school life was the popularity of chess, with many children taking part in four leagues which had been set up and also various knock-out competitions.
