THE Linnets have been threatened with expulsion from the Conference over ground grading issues.
Lynn have 14 days to launch an appeal against demotion after failing to meet Conference deadlines on remedial work to the council-owned Walks Stadium.

Linnets chairman Ken Bobbins has revealed that the Borough Council has agreed to carry out an estimated £250,000 upgrade ahead of next season's league kick-off but this has been rejected by Conference officials.

As it stands, Saturday's Blue Square North game at Vauxhall Motors will be Lynn's last in the division.

If unsuccessful with their appeal, Lynn will be demoted to the UniBond Premier Division, which would have a huge potential financial impact on the club's playing squad and on-going attempts to attract potential investment.
