LINNETS boss Keith Webb has challenged his players to bounce back from their shocking Setanta Shield exit against Hyde United at The Walks tomorrow.
Webb was unhappy with his side's performance as they tasted defeat for the first time this season against Tamworth on Tuesday night (see page 127 of today's paper for report).

Webb said: "I'm looking for a response from the players, who have been told in no uncertain terms that's what I'm after.

"I'm hoping the Tamworth defeat will serve as a little bit of a wake up call.

"To go one down so early put us on the back foot and gave them the belief to push on. We also gave the ball away in the build-up to their second goal.

"We were given a bit of a footballing lesson and we've got to aspire to reach the standards Tamworth set if we want to do well in this league.

"I used the game to give one or two players a run out and only they will know if they performed well enough from the side I pick on Saturday."
