THIS photograph of North End football club was brought in to Look back by Bill Mendham (82).
Mr Mendham, of Peppers Green, Gaywood, said it is a picture of the first team dating from the 1947/48 season.

Mr Mendham joined the club after he came out of the Army in 1947 and had played for the first team and reserves.

"A few years later I got injured. I used to be a trainer as I was in the medical corps during the war," he said.

Mr Mendham also brought in a picture of the youth team. In this picture, the goalkeeper is Ivan Lilley. Sitting in front of the ball is Alec Balls. "He was the president of the club," Mr Mendham said.
