Former West Norfolk Lynn Mayor Ernest Anderson (left) is shown greeting troops – but where were they from?. The late Mr Anderson's son, also called Ernest Anderson, says the picture dates from 1956 – and wonders if anyone can shed any light on it.
"It looks like it was taken at Lynn railway station," said Mr Anderson (79), who lives at Driftway, off Wootton Road. He said the photograph was in a collection belonging to his father who died some 14 years ago, aged 93.

"People may be interested," said Mr Anderson, who is keen to hear from anyone actually in the picture. Anyone with any news about the photograph is asked to ring Mr Anderson on 01553 671589.
