A 12-hour Pingpongathon has been held at a West Norfolk school to help fund a defibrilator at the site.

Well-known table tennis player and coach Mark Spinks, pictured above left, put his skills to fundraising use alongside the school’s caretaker Dave Myring for the fundraising challenge, which was also supported by Strikes, last Friday.

The school is aiming to raise £1,000 to buy a defibrilator as three of its current pupils have heart conditions. Around £600 has been raised so far and two members of staff are planning a static cycle ride challenge in May.
