LYNN'S Queen Elizabeth Hospital is the proud owner of a new training mannequin, thanks to Lynn Vancouver Round Table.
Funds to buy the £1,500 mannequin were raised through a race night, held by the Round Table at the masonic centre in North Lynn in February.

About 100 people attended the event.

Round Table spokes-man Ian Cooper said the hospital had been asked what piece of equipment was needed and the mannequin was suggested.

It will help members of the paediatric team demonstrate procedures to patients and their parents and will also be used for staff training, said Mr Cooper.

The mannequin was handed over to the hospital earlier this month.
