THE WEEKLY Age Concern, pop-in lunch club at London Road Methodist Church Hall, Lynn, is inviting regular members and newcomers to sample an afternoon of musical memories on Tuesday.
Geoff and Gwen Ticehurst will be performing a selection of songs and tunes that are chosen to help people by stirring memories and emotions.

Geoff has played the accordion for 50 years and is keen to demonstrate ways that music can act as a beneficial therapy.

“We’d be delighted to see as many people as possible at this event as Geoff has assured us that the music he has chosen for the afternoon is sure to get people thinking about memorable events and experiences from throughout their lives.” Kate Lewis, the pop-in club manager, told the Lynn News.

The event will run from 1.15pm until 2.45pm and there will be a small charge of 50p for the afternoon which will include tea, coffee and biscuits. Anyone wishing to come along earlier and join in the popular, home-cooked lunch being served as usual at midday will also be very welcome.

The price is £4 for two courses with tea/coffee.
