THE 42F (King's Lynn) Squadron Air Training Corps hopes to sign up more recruits next month.
The Corps aims to encourage an interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force, as well as provide training.

Cadets at the 42F squadron in Loke Road, Lynn, are involved in all manner of activities including camps, drill, overseas trips and community events.

The next intake will take place on Wednesday, September 10, at 7.30pm. Anyone wanting more information is asked to contact officer commanding Pauline Petch on 01553 842149.

  • The 42F squadron is celebrating its 70th anniversary next year – and wants to hear from anyone who would like to take part.

"Over the next few months the cadets will be contacting ex-cadets and ex-staff from the last 70 years to gain information about the squadron's history," said project officer Aimee Petch.

"If you know of anyone who has been involved in the squadron in any way then please ask them to contact the squadron on Monday or Thursdays evenings on 01553 661240."
