SEVEN-year-old Annabel Davies is brimming with pride after she sent a picture to The Queen – and received a reply in three days!
Annabel, of Culey Close, North Lynn, had been going through Sandringham with her nan Mrs Lynne Pull recently when she was inspired to write to The Queen and send her a picture.

A pupil at Greyfriars Primary School in Lynn, she set to work to draw a dog, complete with a crown and union flag around its neck.

"She loves dogs, and horses, and told The Queen they had a lot in common," said Annabel's mum Mrs Marie Davies (35).

The pair posted Annabel's work to The Queen, Buckingham Palace, London – and hoped for the best.

Now a lady-in-waiting has replied to say The Queen was pleased to hear Annabel also loved dogs and horses and thanked her for the "pretty picture".

Annabel was "over the moon", said her mum, who will keep the letter safely for her.
