CANCER charities are set to benefit from a gala dinner taking place in Downham Town Hall on Friday (9) to raise money for ovarian and breast cancer.
Entertainment will be provided by an Elton John impersonator, a nine-piece show band, a magician and West Norfolk Cliff Richard impersonator Jimmy Jermain.

The fun gets under way at 7pm and guests are invited to dress in posh frocks and suits. Tickets cost £37.50 and include a three-course dinner. Book at Lewks Music, in Downham, or call 01366 383762.
