DRINKING hours have been extended at a new £1 million chain pub set to open in Lynn.
The Barracuda Group was given planning permission to transform the former post office building, in Baxters Plain, into a Smith and Jones-style bar in July.

Now West Norfolk Council has agreed to allow the pub to open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, with 30 minutes “drinking-up time” – an extra three hours a week in total.

The council’s development control board approved the changes on Monday.
