STREET dance group Enigma walked away with a £1,000 grand prize after being named winners of the first-ever West Norfolk Has Talent contest.
The group triumphed in a field of 16 acts who entertained a bumper crowd in Lynn's town centre on Sunday to mark the end of five weeks of incredibly tense competition.

Denver-based singer Jess Davidson (15) was named runner-up following her rendition of Memory, from Cats, while ballet performers Callum Dyer (13) and Elisha Keepe (14), of South Wootton, and singer Ella McCready (12), of Pott Row, finished joint third.

Competition organiser Claire Fisher, head of promotions at KL.FM, said: “Considering the area was just West Norfolk the amount of talent we found was unbelievable.

“All 16 acts were good enough to win and it was such a hard task to pick a winner. It was just amazing.”

The final also featured singer Kevin Yeates (17), from Lynn, who won the competition’s final heat on Sunday, August 24, and progressed alongside Spalding-based singer Josie Cliffton (14) and another singer, Watton girl Jodie Chipperfield (13).

The competition was organised by KL.FM in conjunction with the Lynn News, KJ Entertainments, Vancouver Quarter, Youngsters World Toymaster and Hunters Land Rover.
