THE Lynn News Save Our Post Offices Campaign closes today (14) and we are making one last request for readers to send any outstanding petitions and coupons to us.
More than 600 people have completed Lynn News Counter Attack coupons and we have already received nearly 900 signatures on our petitions, with a host of forms yet to be returned.

The Lynn News will meet North West Norfolk MP Henry Bellingham and South West Norfolk MP Christopher Fraser at the House of Commons on Monday to present all the documents received as part of the campaign.

These will then be submitted to Post Watch, the watchdog for postal services, before the consultation period closes on June 2.

We are still encouraging readers to write directly to Post Office bosses about the specific issues they face with detailed information and statistics to support their case.

Letters should be sent to Laura Tarling, Network Development Manager, c/o National Consultation Team, FREEPOST Consultation Team; email consultation@postoffice.co.uk or call 08457 223344.
