A FORMER Gaywood man has recovered from a stammer so well he is now helping others to do the same.
Russell Eden (38), who suffered from a severe stammer since the age of seven, discovered the freedom of fluent speech four years ago thanks to the McGuire Programme, the innovative therapy which also helped TV's Pop Idol Gareth Gates.

Now Mr Eden, who moved to Long Stratton, near Norwich, 18 months ago, will be teaching the programme himself, training students to take control of their speech.

He is holding an open day at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Norwich on Saturday, May 31, with the residential three-day course starting at the hotel in August.

For more information contact Mr Eden on 07772 596508.
