CONGHAM Hall commis chef Jennie Luke hopes to have raised around £200 for the BBC Children in Need appeal by having her hair shaved off.
Nineteen-year-old Miss Luke, who has worked at the country house hotel and herb garden in Lynn Road, Grimston, for two years, said: “I wanted to do something to support this worthwhile charity and wanted my contribution to be noticed.”

Ms Lucy Moss, food and beverage manager, said she took great delight in making the first snip on Tuesday, November 11, while sous chef colleague Mr Sandy Wang completed the transformation in about 15 minutes.
