OUTGOING West Norfolk Mayor Kathy Mellish has received her official portrait to mark her mayoral year from Lynn News photographer Paul Tibbs.
Mr Tibbs has taken the mayoral portraits, which hang at Lynn Town Hall, in Saturday Market Place, for the past seven years.

"It is a great honour," he said.

Mrs Mellish's portrait, measuring 271/2 inches by 211/2 inches, was taken with her standing beside ceremonial maces.

Her term of office was due to end yesterday (May 8) when Mr David Johnson was due to take over as borough mayor at the annual mayor-making ceremony.
