FARMERS' leader Peter Kendall spent the day at the show on Wednesday to highlight the role that agriculture and horticulture can play in Britain's economic recovery.
Mr Kendall, who is in his second term as National Farmers' Union president, spoke about the importance of the industry during a breakfast meeting.
He then took time out on the NFU stand to discuss key farming issues with members of the local NFU branches, including those covering the Lynn, Downham, Swaffham and Southery areas.
