INTERNATIONAL Nurses' Day will be marked with special events at Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday.
Residents are invited to meet staff, view a nursing exhibition and learn more about the caring profession during presentations at 10am, noon and 2pm.

The annual event this year falls on a Monday and is held on the birthday of nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, who would have been 188 years old this year.

Millions of nurses around the globe are expected to take part in events to promote their dedication and hard work.

The Lynn event is being held in the hospital's conference room from 10am and light refreshments will be served.
