POKER fever seems to have got a grip in Hunstanton where chip shop owner Ricky Buck is through to a regional final.
Mr Buck, who owns the Shore Side fish and chip shop, will take part in the regional finals of the game in Northampton where, if he is one of 16 winners, he could go through to the nationals where prize money runs to £2,500.

He won the quarterly competition in Hunstanton where entries for the Red Tooth Poker competition at Bowlers Bar have already reached 53 for the next contest.

Tournament director, Mr Gary O’Quigley, said people were being drawn to the game because the element of pure chance meant anyone could win.

“It is also a good social event where you have a chance to meet new people,” he added.
