DART players at the Workers' Club in Lynn donned fancy dress to step up to the oche for a gruelling 12 hours on Wednesday in aid of a good cause.
Members of the Workers’ ladies’ B team – Miss Tracey Walker, Mrs Tracey Miller, Mrs Linda Eglen, Miss Andrea Miller and Mo Tyler, together with A team player Mrs Teresa Rhodes, took part in the marathon to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Support unit at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

There was also a raffle and it is hoped around £500 has been raised in all.

Mrs Tyler said the marathon – starting at 9am at the Church Street club – was in memory of head barman John Gallagher who died from cancer last year but had been treated at the unit.
