SWAFFHAM Lions have been enjoying a busy period of fundraising and community work as part of their Christmas celebrations.
Members welcomed around 120 guests for a senior citizens' party at Hamond's School, which featured a traditional three-course Christmas meal followed by an afternoon of musical entertainment.

And the festive goodwill has continued, with a little help from the Lionesses, during weekend collections at the town's Waitrose supermarket, which is expected to raise around £2,000.

The Lions have also been pleased to support Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital by donating £1,000 towards the cost of a laser knife for use during eye operations.
