LYNN'S Sainsbury's raised a massive £774 for Macmillan Cancer Support when it held a Pink Day in store.
Staff paid a pound to leave their uniforms at home and dress in pink the week before last, and generous shoppers boosted funds by leaving donations in buckets displayed on checkouts.

Store manager Dave Bassett was delighted with the amount raised.

He said: "We are delighted to support Macmillan Cancer Support making a difference to colleagues and customers needing their support."
