OUTGOING Mayor of West Norfolk Kathy Mellish presents money collected for her chosen Mayoral charity for the year Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Mrs Mellish (left) is shown presenting a bumper cheque for £4,055 to chairman of the Lynn and district branch, Gill Southgate.

The amount, which has been raised from various activities throughout Mrs Mellish's Mayoral year, 2007 to 2008, will help fund guide dog training.

Mrs Mellish, who is no longer Mayor as new Mayor David Johnson took over on May 8, was in turn presented by Mrs Southgate with a framed photograph of guide dog puppies at the presentation earlier that day at Lynn Town Hall.
