A MAN arrested after an armed police drama near to Whitefriars Primary School, in Lynn, on Monday has been released on bail.
As reported in Tuesday’s Lynn News, police were called to Whitefriars Road, just as school pupils were about to go home for the day, to reports of a man in a house with a gun.

A 22-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and possession of firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

He is due to answer bail in early March.
