Woman injured in Hempton crash

A WOMAN was cut from her car and taken to hospital with a head injury after a crash with a lorry in Hempton.
The crash, at 8.40am today (8), led to disruption and diversions for motorists in the area until amost 10am.

The injured woman, thought to be aged 55, was driving a red Vauxhall Vectra.

Ambulance crews, who took her to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, reported her injuries were not life threatening.

Three fire crews attended the crash at the A1065 junction with the B1146.
