The reopening of Gaywood’s newly-refurbished Aldi store was a shining success on Wednesday, when 100 shoppers were presented with Golden Tickets and a chance to win prizes. Borough mayor Barry Ayres officially opened the store, and Julie Peacock won the star prize, a 32” TV.

Store manager Marc Boyd said: “We thank everyone for coming today and for their continuing support. Having been a part of the community for so long, it was fantastic to see everyone come together for the occasion. Congratulations to all the winners and we hope to see everyone soon.”
