Four new tennis courts, built as part of a major housing development in North Lynn and Gaywood, have been opened.
Players had their first chance to try out the courts, which cost £200,000 to build, at Lynnsport on Saturday during a weekend of activities.
The programme included free playing time on the courts, as well as a host of other sessions for families.
The event was organised as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend, which was intended to encourage more people to take up the sport.
The campaign was initiated by the Lawn Tennis Association, who provided some of the funding for the new courts.
