An additional date has been added to this year’s bookfest calendar at Briarfields Hotel in Titchwell.
A special joint authors’ talk with Jim Kelly and Elly Griffiths will take place at 2pm on Sunday, November 22.
The bookfest duo offers a rare opportunity to hear and quiz the two authors, both of whose books are set on the North Norfolk coastline.
Kelly was the first Briarfields Bookfest author, speaking in autumn 2013, while Griffiths spoke last year and her upcoming book, The Woman In Blue, which is due to be published next March, features Briarfields Hotel.
Both authors will speak at 2pm about their latest releases – Death on Demand by Kelly, The Ghost Fields and Smoke and Mirrors by Griffiths – before taking questions from the audience.
Afterwards, both authors will sign copies of their book as Briarfields’ Posh Afternoon Tea is served – tickets are priced £15.
Briarfields’ marketing manager, Jac Sandy, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome both Jim Kelly and Elly Griffiths back to Briarfields and this will be a great afternoon to close this year’s Bookfest events, as both authors are excited to collaborate in a joint talk.
“With Emma Healey, Kate Mosse and Sophie Hannah all having spoken at Briarfields this year, our Bookfests have become a wonderful opportunity to gather book-lovers for a sociable and enjoyable Sunday afternoon get-together, and we look forward to announcing our authors for 2016 shortly.”
