Thousands of people will be enjoying a spectacular fireworks display at the annual Fawkes in The Walks at Lynn.
West Norfolk Council and Lynn Lions have put together the popular bonfire and display night, which will be taking place on Friday, November 7.
Now in its sixth year, the spectacular display promises to be just as impressive as in previous years.
The fun will begin at 6pm, when the park will be packed with stalls and rides.
Mayor Barry Ayres will be lighting the bonfire at 6.30pm with the firework display scheduled to start at 8pm.
David Pope, cabinet member for leisure and public space, said: “The Walks is a fantastic venue for this event, which gives local families the opportunity to enjoy bonfire night in a controlled and safe environment.”
Fawkes in The Walks is free to attend, but charges may be made for other activities. A voluntary collection will be made on the evening to help cover the cost of the event.
Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
People are advised not to take pets to the park and private fireworks are not permitted.
Please do not bring firewood for the bonfire as this will not be accepted.
Lynn Lions are responsible for the charity or trade stands attending.
Anyone wanting a stand should contact John Groom on 01945 474196 no later than the October 30. All food outlets have been taken.
