Students at the College of West Anglia at King’s Lynn are preparing for a bit of bloodthirsty production this week – staging their version of the Little Shop of Horrors, a rock horror.

It is based on the story of a nerdy florist shop worker who raises a vicious raunchy plant that feeds on human blood and the production is an adaption of the Broadway musical comedy of the same name.

The Production Arts first and second year students are doing the technical aspects for this show. The Production Arts course runs side by side with the Performing Arts course and services all of the technical needs for the theatre shows, including lighting, sound, stage management, making the props and painting the scenery.

There is still a chance to buy tickets for the show, which opens tonight and continues to Thursday at 7pm; tickets are £5 for adults, £4 concessions and £3 for students and can be obtained from Gill Childs on 01553 815552.
