A special service was held in Lynn’s St Nicholas Chapel on Sunday during a day of events to celebrate Sea Sunday.
Traditionally, the day was when boats and nets would be blessed in the chapel but, more recently, the day has been held to remember seafarers and pray for them, their families and all those who support them.
A service took place in the chapel before a procession to the fisher fleet, where the boats were blessed.
A yard party was held at True’s Yard museum with proceeds going to the museum’s ongoing Silver Jubilee appeal. Pictured above is the Reverend Laura Baker during the Sea Sunday blessing to the fisher fleet. mlnf16af07251
