Two coastal pubs have joined forces to continue their fundraising efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Staff from the White Horse and the Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe, which ar run by Anglian Country Inns, presented £2,000 to the charity on Friday.

The contribution means the pubs have now raised £28,000 for the cause over the past 12 years.

Nicola Clark, Macmillan’s fundraising manager in West Norfolk and West Suffolk, pictured above, third right, said: “We are very grateful for the continued support on ACI and their customers who through this fundraising have helped us to provide support to local people affected by cancer.

“We just can’t support the people we do without this sort of help.”
