An eight-year-old Lynn girl, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour three years ago, was given back the magic of childhood when she was made a Director of Christmas.

West Lynn’s Freebridge Farm restaurant appointed Olivia Moore for the role, which gave one lucky child the chance to meet Santa, enjoy a taste of the festive menu and experience all of Brewers Fayre’s Christmas plans.

Mum Claire said Olivia has been treatment free for two years, but faced traumas no child should have to.

She said: “We do not know what the future holds for Olivia but for now we want to give her the magic of childhood back and becoming Director of Christmas is a great start.”
