Prince George will begin attending a West Norfolk nursery next month, it has been announced this morning.
A statement has confirmed the prince will go to the Westacre Montessori nursery at East Walton for the first time before the end of January.
A new family photograph featuring George, his sister Princess Charlotte and their parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has also been released to coincide with the announcement.
A nursery spokesman said: “We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all of our children.”
The nursery, which is around 10 miles from the family home at Anmer Hall, was rated as good when it was inspected by Ofsted earlier this year.
The announcement comes just a day after the Queen arrived in West Norfolk to begin her Christmas holiday on the Sandringham estate.
