Youngsters who will be moving to Downham Academy after the summer holidays had fun at a transition day.
Forthcoming Year 12 students organised the event to welcome the new intake of Year 7s on July 20.
The 16-year-olds were challenged to put on an activity for younger pupils and then present their idea in a Dragon’s Den style pitch to get the £20 budget.
Alison Hornby, sixth form director, said: “It’s a really good team-building day for both groups of learners and I hope they have all taken something positive away from the occasion.”
Matt Pagett, 16, from Downham Market, helped to organise an obstacle course. He said: “It was a bit of a challenge for the younger pupils - to help them get to know each other, have a bit of fun for the day and break the ice before they all come up to Downham Academy in September.”
