The charity for armed forces veterans, Bridge for Heroes, is holding an Oktoberfest celebration fundraising event this weekend.
On Saturday, at the General Dannatt Contact Centre in South Clough Lane, Lynn, from 7pm, the Oktoberfest-themed event, complete with German beer, food and authentic music, including some yodelling, will take place.
Tickets are £10 and include German sausage and chips.
“The event will raise much needed funds for the support of ex-armed forces and their families. Fancy dress is encouraged and there will be a prize for the best dressed individual.
Steve Russell, chair of trustees, said: “Anyone attending the event will be able to enjoy a different evening out, with the accompanying authentic German beer, sausages and chips, whilst also raising much-needed funds for a local charity.”
Bridge for Heroes works with former members of the armed forces suffering from the effects of war.
