KING’S LYNN: Fit4Work Games proving popular

Tomorrow at Lynnsport, Active Norfolk’s first West Norfolk Fit4Work Games will be held.

The Games offer an opportunity for both staff and clients to get together and show off their team work and sporting skills against teams from other local businesses.

Kicking off at 6pm and finishing at 10pm, the Fit4Work Games aims to be an action-packed evening.

Four sports events will take place during the evening, netball, badminton, football and fitness triathlon.

Entries are as follows: 5-a-side football – Jordan Fitness, Palm Paper, Norfolk County Council, Snapon Diagnostics, Multitone Electronics, Mapus-Smith and Lemon LLP, RAF Marham, Adrian Flux, Cooper Roller Bearings, King Edward VII School (KES) staff.

Netball – Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adrian Flux, RAF Marham, MARS Foods, KES, Tesco Hardwick, Fraser Dawbarns.

Badminton – Norfolk County Council, Palm Paper, Cooper Roller Bearings, Adrian Flux, RAF Marham, Dow Chemicals, MARS Foods.

Fitness Triathlon – Palm Paper, Norfolk County Council, RAF Marham, Adrian Flux, Dow Chemicals, MARS Foods, KES, British Sugar.

Shelley Starkings, sport and physical activity project worker at Active Norfolk said: “There has been a great response to this event in West Norfolk.”
