MIDDLETON: Roadworks will disrupt village traffic

Work will begin on Monday to carry out drainage works at Setch Road, Middleton ahead of resurfacing works which are due to start the following Monday.

The site will extend from Wormegay Road westwards for about 450 metres to close to Privet Cottage. The work, which costs £73,000, ends on Wednesday, March 27.

During works, Setch Road is closed to all through traffic. Traffic will be diverted via Setch Road, Lynn Road, A134 Stoke Road, Castle Road and Wormegay Road. Access to properties within the works will be maintained.

from one end of the closure at any time, although Norfolk County Council said it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.
