AWARD-WINNING travel consultant Suzanne Smith has set up her own business finding dream holidays for her clients.
Although it is an independent venture, Mrs Smith still has backing and help from Hays Travel, the company which employed her as a homeworker for more than eight years and awarded her its Homeworker of the Year Award at the end of last year.
"I have joined Hays Independence Group which means that the business is now more mine than Hays. I could now open a shop if I wished, but maybe not in the present economic climate," she said.
Mrs Smith has called her business A2Z Travel and specialises in seeking out tailor-made trips and unusual holidays for her clients.
Her regular clients include members of the local Vancouver Chapter of the networking organisation BNI at Lynn who presented her with a bouquet to wish her well in her new venture.
