Traffic diverted during bridge work near Feltwell

STRENGTHENING and maintenance work began this week on the White Dyke Bridge, which crosses the Cut-off Channel about a mile south-west of Feltwell.

The bridge is closed to traffic both ways between Corkway Drove and Black Dyke Road for four weeks, but pedestrian access is being maintained while the £150,000 scheme is carried out for Norfolk County Council.

A signed diversion route has been provided via Common Drove, the unmade track situated opposite Little Oulsham Drove, Southery Road and Black Dyke Road. There is an advisory speed limit of 15mph on Common Drove and the unmade track.
