Works set to close road
Work will begin on Monday to refurbish the pedestrian refuge crossing next to the recreation ground in Cromer Road, Hunstanton, and install raised tactile paving to help the visually-impaired.
The works will take two weeks to complete.
A road closure from the junction between Westgate Street and Cromer Road, northwards for a distance of 50m, will take place during the works.
A signed diversion will be in operation.
Access to properties within the works will be maintained, although it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.
Norfolk County Council said it was sorry for any disruption during the improvements.
The work which will cost £7,300 will be carried out by the council’s environment, transport and development department and their contractors.
