Apprentice at Swaffham’s The Town Barber, Benn Elliott, has just passed a course in traditional wet shaving with flying colours to become fully qualified.

Benn, 26, has been an apprentice at the established shop owned by Richard Hayes, for the past two-and-half months. Said Richard: “Benn’s training will continue under supervision and he is looking forward to getting to know all the customers old and new. He is always cheerful and has a great outlook on life. I enjoy spending my working day with him and he will definitely be an asset to my shop.”

Richard has extended opening hours from 7.30am-5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 7.30am-7pm on Thursday; 6am-4pm on Saturdays. The shop can be contacted on 01760 725399.
